My Story

Hi! I am Laneisha and I am a Nurse Entrepreneur

I started my career as a caregiver at a local assisted living facility at the age of 17. I enjoyed working with the elderly population so much that I decided to take a CNA program and become a CNA at 18. As a CNA, I gained experience in home care, assisted living facilities, and hospice. I was always eager to learn new things in the healthcare field, which is why I went and took the medication administration course and became a med tech.

After a few years of working as a CNA/med tech, I decided to prepare myself for nursing school. I dropped out of school in the 8th grade and knew I needed a GED to become a nurse. I earned my GED in 2010 and enrolled in nursing school in the summer of 2012. Nursing school was a challenge, but I made it and passed my N-Clex on the first try.

I made some good money as a nurse and enjoyed my life, but I also felt as if I was neglecting my children. I worked day in and day out taking care of other people’s loved ones while my children were being raised through cameras. In 2020, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I knew she would change my life, but at that moment, I thought it was for the worse. Oh, how wrong was I.

One night, while nursing my baby, I looked into her little brown eyes and promised her that I would not neglect her like I did my older two. I can’t change or get back the time I spent away from my older two, but we can create memories moving forward. I knew I still had to support my children, yet still spend quality time with them. I decided to become a CPR instructor, and that was the start of my entrepreneurship journey.

My business has taken so many twists and turns, and I am enjoying every minute of it. I work when I want, and most importantly, I get to spend time with my children and serve my community. I train students in CPR, CNA, and First Aid, and soon I will be providing consultation services on a variety of different business topics. I love what I do and enjoy working with others, helping people start their careers.
